About Me
Hi, I'm Edward Montoya
Hello, Rialto! I’m Edward Montoya Jr., a proud U.S. Army Veteran and former First Responder who served 17 years as a Combat Medic and Medical Platoon Sergeant with a lifelong commitment to service. My children were raised in Rialto and went to and graduated from our schools, grounding my deep love for this community. Appointed to the City Council in January 2025, I’m dedicated to making Rialto safer, more inclusive, and stronger for all.
For the past 10 years, I’ve worked and volunteered with local organizations supporting substance abuse recovery, homeless individuals and families, service dogs, and our low-income residents. As the founder of the Brotherhood Bridge Foundation, I’ve helped thousands of veterans and first responders through crisis interventions and mental health advocacy, while earning recognition from U.S. Senators, Congress members, CA state representatives and military leaders reaching all the way to the Pentagon and White House levels. I also represent Rialto on CONFIRE, the California Association of Public Cemeteries, and the Veterans Committee, advocating for public safety and community well-being.
As an experienced leader, I leverage my education and expertise to address Rialto’s key issues, ensuring financial stability while prioritizing vital services for you and our residents. I consider our hardworking community to be as close to me as a family, deeply invested in our shared future. With gratitude to God, my family, the United States of America, and especially my wife, I’m honored to serve as your Councilman.
I need your support to keep building Rialto’s bright future! Whether you can donate, display a yard sign, knock on doors, or help with campaign signs, your involvement matters. Join me, and let’s shape a thriving Rialto together! I humbly ask for your trust and vote.
